Warm-up is the period where your sending setup gradually builds a good reputation before campaign volume increases. Email campaigns may require approximately 14 days.
Why it matters
Email providers pay close attention to new senders. A brand-new setup that suddenly sends thousands of messages looks suspicious, and messages start landing in spam folders. Starting small and building steadily signals that you are a legitimate sender.
What warm-up protects
- Your sender reputation, which is hard to repair once damaged.
- Inbox placement, so your messages are actually seen.
- Long-term campaign performance rather than a short burst.
What you'll see
During this stage your dashboard shows the Warm-Up status with a progress indicator. Activity is intentionally light. Once warm-up finishes, your campaign moves to Campaign Launched and volume ramps up.
Patience pays
Two weeks of careful preparation consistently beats a rushed launch that lands in spam.
